I have an original Yamaha CR-820 Receiver purchased between 1977-1979 by my father. I have it in climate control storage, fully operational with no scratches. I also have the original manual with the retail price and date of purchase handwritten by my father. All I know is that he cherised the many years he used it and when he passed away in 1995, I inherited the unit. I don’t know the value or if if it has any. Do you?
Thank you.

In perfect condition 250.00$ / 300.00$
I have two of these. One of which I’m the original owner, the other a $40 special at the local resale shop 12-14 years ago.
Both have succumbed to the same issue – totally dead right channel.
I love this receiver – the thd specs don’t lie. Judging from your guesstimate of current value, probably not worth paying someone to repair. Agree?
